provides full documentation in what we call our “Welcome
Letter,” which includes a personalized letter
from your main point of contact at STAR; and
also includes Star International Movers full contact
details, the origin agents full contact details, the
destination agents full contact details, and systematic
explanation of what documentation is required for
their specific relocation. Each piece of documentation
that is required will be included in the “Welcome
Letter.” If you have young children, please
do not hesitate to ask your coordinator for our Bernstein
Bears book about moving. They will be more than happy
to include one in your Welcome Letter! We look forward

estimate. Star International Movers can be contacted
from anywhere in the world for a free survey. Star
has a network of agents that can provide that service
to you and STAR will provide you with the door-to-door

Estimates
Star International Movers will provide you with an
estimate for the services you require. STAR can provide
you with an estimate to relocate your used household
goods and personal effects, autos, motorcycles, boats,
commodities and consumables. Our staff will fully
explain to you what the estimate includes and what
it does not include. If you require an estimate to
be “all-inclusive”, such as making sure
difficult access, crating of delicate items, full
replacement valued insurance is fully outlined and
included in the estimate, Star International Movers
can meet those needs for you! If there are any additional
charges, Star International Movers will not automatically
include them on the invoice, but make sure they are
pre-authorized prior to sending it to the company
or individual paying for the move.
Welcome
Letter
Our
Welcome Letters will include confirmation of pack
out dates, and it will also request clear copies of
the picture page on your passport and visa. US Customs
requires a full home address and passport number for
anyone exporting their goods out of the United States.

Star
International Movers will provide an estimate to ship
consumables overseas. We have extensive experience in
shipping consumables to remote areas of the world. Star
International will confirm consignment details and requests
confirmation from the customer and destination agent
prior to sending the goods overseas. We also make sure
the goods are individually wrapped in paper and
the boxes are plastic wrapper to avoid any water damage,
due to the rainy seasons in specific countries that
are used to a lot of moisture.
Export
of Commodities
Star
International Movers specializes is shipping commodities
for corporate accounts. Any shipment worth of $2500.00
is required to be registered with the State Department.
Star International Movers requires a Pro-Forma invoice
with a full description of the itmes being shipped.
If the shipment is worth over $2500.00, Star International
Movers requires the Schedule B numbers, so the products
can be registered prior to exporting them. Please feel
free to contact Star International Movers any time for
inquires about the shipment of commodities overseas.

If
the vehicle was purchased overseas US Customs requires
proof that the vehicle conforms to US Specs. If
the vehicle does not conform it will be shipped
back to the country of origin or seized by the US
Government. One of our knowledgeable staff members
